A rather exhausted looking Daena sits in a chair, peering at the camera.. forearms perched on her knees, a bit of white hair showing at her roots. A box of dye can be seen on the table nearby. Her backwater accent is gone, replaced with an odd, softly lilting blend of Imperial, Separatist and Republic accents that came out utterly replaceable thanks to her upbringing.

Been a busy couple of days. I haven’t been sleeping much thanks to worrying about the SIS finding Scylas. I saw him and Arel yesterday on Voss. He looked alright, seemed to at least be acting like himself. Arel’s working hard in the hospital with the outbreak.

A pause - she straightens and runs her hand over her face, the loose linen pants and snug tank shifting as she leans back, crossing her legs, reaching for the box of dye and tearing it open and mixing it as she speaks.

He was happy to hear Lraida is running vaccine and samples. I’m sure he and Scy realize there’s other stuff getting moved too, but we *are* doing good overall. People need stuff. We get stuff to them. They’d get it somewhere else if it wasn’t from us, so we may as well make some cash. We’re not charging for vaccine shipments, just the medical samples going to corporations. The public’s touting us as heroes. Customs is already getting sloppy.

I signed on Krade as a bit of muscle to help back the tougher deliveries. He seems solid. Smarter than he lets on. I like him.

She frowns at the dye, sighing as she finishes mixing and sets it aside, those stark, ice-blue eyes darting to the camera.

He isn’t fond of Seth. I mentioned that I’d hoped to work *with* him but that he’d dropped off the map for me and he seemed to tense up. I think I understand why everyone beat up on him now. Guy’s unreliable. I can’t believe I was so naive. Krade thinks he might turn up as a rival company. I’m half hoping he does, half hoping he wants to be a client. I can’t decide what the actual issue is. I figure the truth’s somewhere in between the two stories.

Anyhow. I need to get this dye on and try to get some sleep. Long day tomorrow, need to see if I can hire a second crew.

A slender arm darts forward, turning off the recording.
